Thomas Anderson, committed to awakening freedom, is an accomplished pilot with both military and civilian experience. He humbly began his aviation career serving local and transient customers at Goshen Air Center, a municipal airport in northeast Indiana. Since the age of 17, he has piloted many different types and models of aircraft for private corporate enterprises and for two major airline carriers. Having earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science and Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, Tom is also certified as an aircraft mechanic. His career made way for him to fly aircraft on complex and demanding niche market missions in many different theaters including the Canadian Arctic, Australia, Caribbean, Alaska and South America.

In the fall of 2008, he deployed for the first time to Iraq to fly combat missions under the DoD as a contract pilot. He made 6 deployments in support of US CENTCOM Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) which included filling the role of lead pilot and flight operations manager for a route clearance mission program. Next, he made 8 deployments supporting US SOCOM special operations in Bagram, Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). After accumulating over 3000 hours in both wartime theaters, he decided it was time to move on to the next chapter of his career.

After a short time flying jets for a private company, in August 2015, he was selected and hired as a United Airlines pilot on the Boeing 737 aircraft which he flew for over 6 years. On August 6, 2021 United Airlines declared a mandate to take an unapproved medical product (EUA covid shot) or face termination. Thomas refused to comply for religious and other reasons. He obtained a religious exemption but was forced out of the company and in the spring of 2022, he was constructively discharged by United Airlines for not complying with their illegal covid shot mandate. After many months of searching, he found employment again flying corporate jets. He currently works for another major airline.

Thomas has accumulated vast experience during his multiple worldwide missions and military combat flying sorties. He has received distinct letters of recognition for his outstanding leadership and courage. His experience and career journey has prepared him to lead as the Co-Founder of Wings for Accountability; an organization dedicated to establishing accountability in families, communities, corporations and government leadership.

Tom is one of 28 plaintiffs in the Wings For Liberty And Justice lawsuit filed January 19, 2023 against United Airlines. He is also a co-author for the soon to be released book – Wings For Liberty And Justice: Our Relentless Pursuit For Justice.
