Introduction to Our Story Series
Welcome to “Our Story”. In this blog portion of our web page, we intend to share personal stories from our plaintiff group about how the United Airlines vaccine mandate affected us. Other sections on our site detail how we as a group are fighting against that mandate. Our actual legal filings are available, along with coming information such as numerous articles, reports, and study-findings supporting our claims.
In the coming blog posts, you will discover just how tyrannically United Airlines behaved and how those actions affected employees, people, us. These stories are not relayed here as complete “legal documents,” (they would be too voluminous). They are, rather, relayed to provide glimpses into the the extent United reached to cause pain and discomfort to those of us who stood for our rights within God given and established law. You will discover the gravity these decisions had regarding our day-to-day lives.
We never imagined we would be here, but then again, we never imagined that our employer, United Airlines, would do the things described in these stories. (By the way, there were over 67,000 employees who were told to abandon their personal medical autonomy, so these stories are but a tiny tip of a giant iceberg.) These stories should serve to remind and refresh our memories about what happened.
This is what drove us to reluctantly file this lawsuit. This is what must never happen again. This is about accountability and the restoration of trust and hope. These personal experiences are to remind everyone that there is no excuse that justifies what they did to us. Those who are responsible need to account for their actions. Only then, can we protect life while restoring hope and trust in our society.
During this Christmas Season, we pray for peace and blessings, and for decisions that will prevent this type of behavior from happening to anyone again.
